Mountain Biking
Well its been a while since i was really into biking as Kitesurfing and a Celica took over my life. I'm glad to say the balance has been restored!
I ride a Giant NRS frame built up with my own kit - Oldschool Bomber Z1's, Mavic 317 Disc rims on DDG hubs, with Hope DH4 front and Mini rear discs. Im using a Hollowtech II Deore LX crankset, XT front and rear mechs, XT rear block. I did have an XTR block on there but it wore out after 500 miles of mild use so I've got that on my trials bike:
(Me with my 9" trials frame, posing for a Magura advert - note my custom 12mm Alu brake booster )
I used to ride a Coyote F1 (hence my alias on many forii) but blew the shock while riding in the Slovenian mountains - I couldnt get a replacement so i bought the Giant frame second hand for a good price.
I'm currently riding the bike to work on slicks during the week and swapping to knobbles for weekend fun!
